Pitted Cherries 100g
Dark Chocolate (70%) 200g
Butter 120g
Brown Sugar 150g
Eggs 2
Flour 100g
Cocoa Powder 2 tbsp
Cooking Method
Step 01
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Line a square baking tin (8x8 inch) with parchment paper.
Step 02
In a heatproof bowl, melt the butter and dark chocolate together (use a microwave or double boiler).
Step 03
Whisk the sugar and eggs together, then pour in the vanilla extract.
Step 04
Sift in the flour, cocoa powder and salt, then fold until just combined.
Step 05
Gently fold in the cherries and optional chocolate chunks.
Step 06
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Step 07
Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a skewer comes out with a few moist crumbs. Ready to enjoy!
