Creamy, naturally sweet and gently refreshing, this Blueberry Kurma Smoothie blends juicy blueberries with caramel-like kurma for a beautifully balanced iftar treat.

Ingredients
Fresh or frozen blueberries 1 cup
Soft kurma (pitted) 4 to 5
Cold milk (fresh milk or almond milk) 1 cup
Plain yogurt 1/2 cup
Ice cubes 1/2 cup
Salt Small pinch
Chia seeds (optional) 1 tbsp
Vanilla extract (optional) 1/2 tsp
Cooking Method
Step 01
Soak the pitted kurma in warm water for 5 minutes to soften if needed. Drain before using.
Step 02
Add the blueberries, kurma, milk and yogurt into a blender.
Step 03
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Step 04
Add chia seeds, vanilla extract, ice cubes and a small pinch of salt. Blend again until well combined and frothy.
Step 05
Taste and adjust consistency with more milk if preferred.
Step 06
Pour into glasses and serve immediately while chilled.
