Black Angus Steak with Garlic-herb Ghee

Elevate your dining experience with this decadent Black Angus Steak with Garlic-Herb Ghee. This recipe boasts an exquisite flavour of premium beef, perfectly complemented by the aromatic richness of garlic-herb infused ghee.

Ingredients
Black Angus steaks 2
Ghee 1 tablespoon
Garlic-herb blend (Garlic, dried thyme, oregano)
Button mushrooms 1 bowl
Baby spinach or other leafy green vegetables 1 bowl
Cooking Method
Steak
Step 01 Pat dry the steak with a paper towel, then season generously with salt and pepper.
Step 02 In a small bowl, stir together the ghee and garlic-herb blend.
Step 03 In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, warm 1 to 2 tablespoons of oil until hot.
Step 04 Cook the steak, turning frequently until well browned for 2 - 4 minutes.
Step 05 Add the garlic-herb ghee and cook, carefully basting the steak until medium-rare.
Step 06 Transfer the steaks onto a cutting board and rest for 5 minutes. Cut the steaks into ½-inch-thick slices.
Vegetables
Step 01 In the same pan, add in 1-2 teaspoons of oil. Warm over medium-high heat until hot.
Step 02 Add in the mushrooms, season with salt and pepper then stir occasionally until soft and brown.
Step 03 Stir in the spinach or other selected greens and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Step 04 Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper. Serve together with the steak.
