Ingredients
For the Salad
Fresh Apples (Granny Smith or red), cored and diced 2 cups
Celery, thinly sliced 1 cup
Seedless Grapes, halved 1 cup
Garlic Cloves, thinly sliced 2
Walnuts, chopped 1/2 cup
Raisins (optional) 1/4 cup
For the Dressing
Mayonnaise 1/2 cup
Lemon Juice 1 tbsp
Honey 1 tsp
Salt & Pepper To taste
Cooking Method
Step 01
In a large bowl, combine all the diced apples, sliced celery, grapes and raisins.
Step 02
Toast the walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes, until lightly golden and fragrant.
Step 03
In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, honey, salt and pepper.
Step 04
Pour the dressing over the apple mixture and toss gently to coat.
Step 05
Sprinkle the toasted walnuts on top and mix lightly.
Step 06
Refrigerate for 15–20 minutes before serving for the best flavour.
