Ingredients

Tiger Prawns 1 kg
Butter 125 grams (½ cup)
Garlic Cloves (chopped) 6
Paprika 2 tsp
Ground Black Pepper 1 tsp
Ground White Pepper 1 tsp
Onion Powder 1 tsp
Dried Oregano 1 tsp
Cayenne Pepper 1 tsp
Thyme 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Juice from 1 lime
Cooking Method
Step 01
Use small scissors or a paring knife to cut along the top of the prawn shells, slicing into the flesh to expose the vein. Make a long incision down the back and use the tip of a knife or a toothpick to lift out the vein.
Step 02
Combine the dry spices and salt in a bowl, then set aside.
Step 03
In a large frying pan, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
Step 04
Add minced garlic to the pan and cook for about 1 minute, stirring, until fragrant.
Step 05
Stir in the mixed spices, then add the prawns. Cook them for 2 minutes on one side, stirring occasionally.
Step 06
Flip the prawns and cook for another 2 minutes on the other side until they start turning pink.
Step 07
Stir in lime juice, adjust salt or lime juice to taste, and remove from heat. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve.
