Greek Turkey Burger

Ingredients
Plain Greek yogurt
200g
Medium lemon

Minced garlic

Dried dill

Ground turkey

Sun-dried tomatoes (halved)

Medium red onion

Frozen spinach

Crumbled feta cheese

Dried oregano

Cooking Method

Step 01

For the yogurt sauce, combine yogurt, 1/4 tsp minced garlic, dry dill, lemon juice (half of the lemon) and a dash of salt. Mix well and refrigerate.
Step 02
Defrost the spinach and squeeze out the moisture. Roughly chop the spinach as well as the sun dried tomatoes and 1/4 of the red onion.
Step 03
Combine the ground turkey with spinach, sun dried tomatoes, red onion, feta, 1/2 tsp minced garlic, dried oregano, egg, bread crumbs, 1/2 tsp of salt and some freshly ground pepper. Be sure to mix well.
Step 04
Form six patties using the mixture.
Step 05
Cook the burgers on a grill, skillet or over an open flame.
Step 06
Coat the inner sides of the buns with yogurt sauce, place a cooked patty and top with thin slices of red onion and cucumber.


Replace the patty with chicken if preferred.
